Accident Outside Illinois
I'm going to address the topic of: If my accident happened outside Illinois, can I still hire you, Scott, as my lawyer?
I get a lot of people who read my articles or call me just with questions and we talk about their case. Most people know that my main office is in Chicago Illinois, but I do represent people all over the country.

Organizations Of Lawyers
So the short answer is that, yes, I can represent you in most kinds of cases and in most states. Even if I'm not licensed there. What I do is, I'm a member of a couple of organizations of lawyers with lawyers all over the country. There are a couple of organizations that teach lawyers how to be really good at what they do. Really good at how to analyze a case work, it up, and try it. So lawyers who do those sorts of classes, they're extra. Lawyers aren't required to do them, but I'm one of the few lawyers who do it. So my colleagues in those organizations are top-notch lawyers.
Co-Counseling
That's why I never have a problem co-counseling with them to work on your case. The short answer is, if you have a case that didn't happen in Chicago, well, we'll do it the other way. If it happened in Chicago, of course I can represent you. If it happened anywhere in Illinois I'd be happy to talk to you, represent you, and do everything I can.
If it happened outside the state of Illinois, I can probably represent you. So if you need help or you need to have a call, call me at my toll my toll-free 24-hour no charge line and you'll probably talk to an operator. They'll take down some basic information and send me your info. I'll call you back whenever you like. I'm happy to talk to you even if I can't represent you or you don't have a case and you just have a question.
