Should You Need To Contact A Lawyer?

I had a conversation with a lady, she shared that she fell during a business trip. We talked for minutes, and initially two (2) things came up; She had trouble describing where she fell and what caused it. She was not able to tell me if it caused by anything, such as water but she was not able to give me any details. I have been doing this for a while now. I am really good at nailing down the details on fall down cases, I try to be patient with clients. I was patient with her we got some idea of what happened to her.

You Should Remember The Details

That is the first point, if you are injured but you have no memory of it, you can't remember where, how, or what happened to you, that is a red flag. An injured person is the star witness in their injury case in many ways. Usually in an injury case, if you don't have any idea of what happened to you that is bad for getting your money.

There are some exceptions here. I was involved in a medical malpractice case that worked out well for the family, but it was a situation where no one witnessed the doctor’s malpractice. It is common in a man milk case, no one would know about their malpractice simply because no one studied medicine like them.

It’s true that a witness is needed to tell what happened, for a car crash it could be from the police, it could be medical reports from doctors and nurses. The point is, just because you do not understand how it happened it is over, but it is a big deal knowing and not.

Proven By Medical Professionals

Second thing I want to talk to you about goes back to when I had the conversation with the lady. I asked her questions like where she went to see a doctor and what the doctor said, she replied by saying her neck hurts, but she could not find time to see a doctor.

The point is, if you have injuries, there is no way of proving it in an injury case unless stated by medical professionals. It is reliable to identify what caused the injury, having medical care also serves as proof to a case. It is not smart to wait for the worst scenario to see a doctor, most people do it but it’s not good in an injury case. Having a doctor’s diagnosis testifies your injury in a case. If you are not sure about your injury, like the case for the lady, get checked by a doctor to have it treated immediately.

The main point of having it treated is for your health, and when the doctors say you are okay then it should be a small injury case. The general rule for it is the bigger the injury is, the case is worth more. A lot of things deviate from that rule but that is the bottom line. Those are the two things to know if you need a lawyer or not. If you cannot describe your injury and/or if you are not hurt that much or very light injuries that you probably think that you do not need a doctor for it. Or if you think you do not have a case, you can call me or any other injury lawyer and tell them everything you know and it’s their job to prove your case for you. I hope it helps you.
